COMPUTER GEEK SPEAK FOR BEGINNERS

SALT LAKE CITY (Wireless Flash) -- Folks who want to look hip in the office should model their slang after computer geeks. That's the word from Heather Stone of Myjobsearch.com, who claims "geek speak" is quickly becoming the norm in offices around the globe. For example, it's old-fashioned to simply tell your boss you're "feeling sick." Instead, tell him you're "...having a system crash." Workers don't "do lunch" anymore, either. Nowadays they "control refresh" themselves. Another hip term is "mindshare," which is the new word for "brainstorming." Finally, the next time someone tries to dump more work on you, don't tell them you're "too busy." Just say "I don't have enough bandwidth."
