WIRELESS FLASH BRIEFS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Wireless Flash) -- An Alaskan disc jockey is offering his listeners a unique service: a free X-ray of their Christmas presents to reveal what's inside. DJ Hal Abrams of Anchorage station KMXS claims husbands will be able to gauge how much to spend on their wives' presents by seeing what's inside the presents bought for them. -- PHOENIX -- The Harlem Globetrotters will pay tribute to former teammate Wilt Chamberlain by wearing black patches on their team jerseys starting December 26. The patches will also honor Globetrotters William "Pop" Gates and Clarence "Cave" Wilson, who also died this year. -- LOS ANGELES -- Talk about inflation: "Six Million Dollar Man" creator Glenn Larson says if he made the show today, it'd be retitled "The Billion Dollar Man." Although he has no plans to remake the show, Larson is re-tackling the man/machine concept in a new TV-movie, "Millennium Man," which airs tonight on UPN.
