BAD CELL PHONE PROMPTS LAWSUIT BY PAM ANDERSON'S HAT DESIGNER

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- The artist who designs hats for Pam Anderson and other celebrities is suing a cellular phone company for $10 million. New York-based Ivy Supersonic plans to file a suit against Sprint PCS because she claims garbled cell phone connections prevented her from conducting several media interviews. It all started last September, when Pam Anderson wore a gigantic hat to the "MTV Music Awards" that was designed by Supersonic and drew lots of looks. Supersonic claims media outlets like "People" magazine wanted to interview her after seeing the hat, but were unable to reach her because of bad connections caused by Sprint cell phone service. A Sprint PCS spokesman says the company can't comment until it sees a formal complaint.
