URI GELLER BATTLES POKEMON

LONDON (Wireless Flash) -- Pikachu and the rest of the Pokemon gang may need a lawyer fast. It seems famous spoon-bending psychic Uri Geller is suing Nintendo for $105 million over a Pokemon character that allegedly is based on the psychic without his permission. The evil Pokemon character in question carries two bent spoons in his hands and has the ability to psychically induce headaches in other Pokemon. Its name is "Alakazam" in English, but in Japan it's called "Un-Geller." The 53-year-old Israeli psychic claims that during a recent visit to Japan, children were afraid to come near him because they thought he was evil. Geller says he fears the confusion between him and the Pokemon character will hurt sales of his new book, "Mind Medicine" (Element Books). Nintendo officials were unavailable for comment.
