HOW TO HOLD NEW YEARS IN A BOMB SHELTER

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Wireless Flash) -- If you're planning on hiding out in a bomb shelter on New Year's Eve, you don't have to miss out on any of the fun. That's according to preparedness expert James Stevens, author of "Don't Get Caught With Your Pantry Down" (Gold Leaf Press). Stevens says its easy to plan a bomb shelter party just by using the contents of your "panic pantry." Try whipping up a festive batch of egg nog by using shelf- stable milk and powdered eggs. Or you can make a clam dip out of canned clams and powdered milk cottage cheese. As for entertainment, Stevens says you can create a colorful light show just by shining a flashlight through a cut-glass punch bowl.
