BAD MOVIE BUFFS SPEND 24 HOURS IN HELL (JAN. 28)

EVANSTON, Ill. (Wireless Flash) -- Could you sit through 24 hours of bad movies? Believe it or not, that's what 200 bad movies buffs from around the world will be doing this weekend at the 26th annual "B-Fest," a 24-hour bad movie marathon in Evanston, Illinois. B-Fest spokesman Matt Cameron claims the festival helped inspire "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and says the cheesy cinema celebration brings new meaning to the term, "interactive." For instance, last year, a group of Godzilla groupies built a miniature cardboard city and stomped on it as the monster movie was being screened. However, the most interactive event to date might be the time the audience came close to collectively vomiting during a screening of "Let My Puppets Come," a 1970s-era porn flick featuring humans having sex with puppets.
