PAT BOONE CONSIDERING DUET WITH SNOOP DOGGY DOGG

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- First Pat Boone shocked his older fans with a heavy metal album in 1997. Now he's considering recording a rap duet with Snoop Doggy Dogg. Boone recently taped an episode of the VH-1 series, "The List," and reportedly got along so well with fellow guest, Snoop Doggy Dogg, that he's trying to corral the rapper into a studio for a duet. The proposed song is a rap ditty titled "Back Bone," which deals with the importance of standing up for your beliefs. Although rap might seem a leap for Boone, he claims he's grown to like some of the music since being introduced to it by his grandchildren. No word on when and if the Snoop Doggy Dogg/Pat Boone collaboration will occur but the VH-1 episode featuring the two of them is scheduled to air sometime in March.
