CELL PHONE `HOLSTERS' RATTLING WORKPLACE NERVES?

SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- A new executive cell phone holder that resembles a gun holster has some security experts up in arms. The so-called "e-Holster" is a shoulder sling that can hold up to five technological gizmos such as pagers, cell phones and Palm Pilots. Inventor Tom Traeger says he actually enlisted gun holster designers to create the e-Holster so it there wouldn't be any "noticeable bulges" underneath a suit. Although the new holster is mainly designed to make a fashion statement, some workplace security experts fear the invention may send the wrong message. Steve Kaufer of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants thinks some workers may mistake the e-Holster for a gun holster and fear their co-worker is packing heat.
