CANADIANS CRACK DOWN ON HAMSTER POOP

GANONOQUE, Ontario (Wireless Flash) -- A town in Canada has come up with a pet poop clean-up law that's leaving even the hamsters down in the dumps. The small town of Ganonoque (Ga-noh-nah-qway) has banned pet owners from leaving any sort of fecal droppings on city streets - - even from tiny hamsters. Residents who pooh-pooh the ordinance may find themselves slapped with a fine of up to $100. Mayor Sylvia Fletcher Thomas says the biggest poop problem stems from dogs, but the law wouldn't be fair if it didn't address other animals as well.
