FORMER JERKY BOY NOW MAKING DOCUMENTARIES

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Jerky Boy crank caller Kamal Ahmed is trading in his telephone for a director's chair. The former foul-mouthed prankster has just completed filming "Artists of Hells Kitchen," a serious documentary about New York City artists. Despite the nature of the film, Kamal admits he still can't shake his raunchy Jerky Boys image with fans -- especially celebrity fans. Tony Danza, Emilio Estevez and Martin Scorcese have all told him they're big fans of his phone work. Kamal says he hopes his new film will convince folks he's not just a crank-calling goofball -- but he's not abandoning his old ways entirely. His next project is a new album of crank calls and skits entitled "Kamal: Once A Jerk, Always A Jerk."
