FLIGHT ATTENDANTS FLY THE UNFRIENDLY SKIES

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash) -- The skies are a pretty unfriendly place for most flight attendants. Reports of injuries being caused by heavy luggage, defective food carts and slippery floors are on the rise. A spokeswoman for the Association of Flight Attendants claims there have been several serious injuries already, including one attendant whose career came to a crashing halt when she was hit by a runaway beverage cart. Flight attendants say they're fed up with the work hazards, and they now want the Federal Aviation Administration to do something about the unsafe conditions in the air. To make their point, the flight attendants plan on delivering a 6-foot-tall valentine to FAA officials later today urging them to "not be so cold-hearted."
