SIZE MATTERS WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR TAX RETURN

SANTA ANA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- When it comes to tax returns, size matters -- at least for the return envelope. According to tax attorney Terry Moore, sending your return tucked inside a larger than normal envelope can dramatically reduce your chances of an audit. Moore claims IRS computers and machinery are pre-set to automatically open standard #10 business envelopes -- which means those are the first ones to be processed and the first to be "selected" for an audit. He says returns sent in larger, non-standard envelopes must be processed by hand which reduces or at least delays your chance of an audit.
