`LEPRECHAUN-CAM' TO SEARCH FOR LITTLE PEOPLE

BELFAST, Ireland (Wireless Flash) -- Leprechaun hunting is going high-tech in Ireland. An Irish investigation group plans to use a web cam to capture proof of "the little people" by training a camera on a spot near the village of Thurles. The area is home to something called a "fairy ring" which is where leprechauns supposedly play. Spokesman John Murphy says locals have been blaming all sorts of strange activity on the leprechauns, everything from broken farm equipment to slaughtered cattle. He hopes the web camera will capture evidence of real leprechauns or some other paranormal presence and he's inviting net heads to help out by watching and reporting any activity. The "leprechaun-cam" will start transmission on March 16 and can be viewed at irelandseye.com
