MICHAEL JACKSON'S TABLOID TATTLING PAST

MICHAEL JACKSON'S TABLOID TATTLING PAST

SECAUCUS, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- Michael Jackson may trash tabloids like "The National Enquirer" in public -- but privately, he's one of the tabloids top sources for dirt. That's according to gossip columnist Jeanette Walls, who claims Jackson was actually the source of many of those bizarre "Wacko Jacko" stories including the one about him buying the bones of the Elephant Man. It was also Jackson's idea to pose in a hyperbaric chamber for "The National Enquirer" so the story would land on the front page. Walls says the Gloved One planted the strange stories to keep himself in the limelight and to draw attention from The Artist Formerly Known As Prince. Walls is the author of the upcoming book, "Dish: The Inside Story on the World of Gossip" (Spike/Avon).
