COST OF LIVING IT UP IS GOING UP

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Don't expect the cost of living it up to go down anytime soon. According to the latest Moet & Chandon Luxury Index, the average price for luxury items rose nearly 4 percent in the past year. The biggest change is the price for a round-trip Concorde ticket from New York to Paris -- up 6 percent from $10,912 to $11,578. -- A case of vintage Moet & Chandon champagne that cost $430 last year now sells for $463. -- A shampoo, haircut and blow dry from Frederic Fekkai, a ritzy New York hair salon, went up from $135 to $150. Not all luxury items have gone up in price. A Jaeger-LeCoultre 18- carat gold watch that cost $19,800 last year can now be had for $18,050.
