TEXANS LIVING HIGH ON THE HOG AT SPAM COOK-OFF

AUSTIN, Tex. (Wireless Flash) -- Could you stomach a cooking contest where everything's made from Spam? That's what's going to happen tomorrow (Apr. 1) at the 22nd annual Spamarama in Austin, Texas. Chefs must utilize the canned mystery meat to create new dishes. Some of the past winners include "Spamchiladas," "Spamachini Alfredo," "moo goo gai Spam" and even a Spam-flavored cocktail called "Tequila Spamrise." Organizer David Arnsberger says the event was created after he decided Texas had too many chili cook-offs and figured a better test would be to see if anyone could make Spam edible.
