PAUL REVERE TO CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY OF NAMESAKE'S MIDNIGHT RIDE

BOISE, Idaho (Wireless Flash) -- Next Tuesday (Apr. 18) marks the 225th anniversary of Paul Revere's famous midnight ride, and one person who will be celebrating is 1960s-era rocker Paul Revere. The now 62-year-old musician says he's a big fan of his namesake and he even owns a silver bowl made by Revere. Contrary to popular belief, the musical Revere wasn't named after the famous patriot: in fact, the rocker's middle name is Revere and his real last name is Dick. Revere claims he switched names when his music career took off because he "...didn't want to be known as a Dick." The modern Paul Revere plans to reenact the midnight ride by riding his Harley around the front yard of his home. Paul Revere And The Raiders' latest album is titled "Time Flies When You're Having Fun."
