CHEF INVENTS LIME AND CHILI PEPPER SODA

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- It may seem like a tall tale but a New York chef has created a soda that's flavored with lime and chili peppers. Ron Chrismon -- who owns a New York bistro called Bubby's -- admits the thought of a chili-flavored lime soda might leave a sour taste in your mouth, but he claims his non-alcoholic concoction packs a wallop and can be a substitute for tequila. Chrismon claims two editors of "Chili Pepper" magazine who recently split a bottle told him they were high as kites for three hours. The chili-lime soda -- called "Loco" -- will hit New York City next month and will be in stores nationwide sometime next year.
