ROCK STARS KEEP NEEDLEPOINT ARTIST IN STITCHES

LONDON (Wireless Flash) -- A British needlepoint artist is being kept in stitches by her favorite rock stars. 28-year-old Liz Powner of London has created a line of rock star dolls that include the Bee Gees, the Beatles, ABBA and her pride and joy: a Pete Townsend doll that features a schnoz as big as the guitarist's real beak. The rockin' needlepoint artist makes each of the $50 dolls herself -- but she admits not every rock group is worth immortalizing. That includes R.E.M. which Powner claims is too bland to make a good set of dolls.
