IS DOG-BONE ASTEROID REALLY A SHIP FROM ANOTHER PLANET?

ROSEBURG, Oregon (Wireless Flash) -- Scientists say they've discovered a metallic, dog bone-shaped asteroid that's about the size of New Jersey -- but an 83-year-old Oregon man has a bone to pick with the experts. UFO buff Stan Johnson -- who claims to be in regular contact with an outer space alien named "Commander Astar" -- says the asteroid is really a spacecraft from another planet. He claims the aliens will use the metallic object to correct a glitch in Earth's axis that's been causing unusual weird weather patterns for the last few summers. Although Johnson predicts Commander Astar will correct Earth's weather by 2002, he admits we've still got a few more seasons of bizarre weather before things get better.
