PIZZA MAKERS GO DOUGH TO DOUGH IN CONTEST

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Wireless Flash) -- Some of the world's fastest pizza makers will be going "dough to dough" next Tuesday (May 23) in Las Vegas. Domino's Pizza is sponsoring its 19th Annual Fastest Pizza Maker Contest and 17 pizza chefs from as far away as London and Taiwan will compete to make 14 pizzas in the shortest time. The top prize is only $5000, but the pizza participants take the competition seriously. One competitor -- Brian Edler of Defiance, Ohio -- has been preparing by meeting regularly with a sports psychologist. So far, he set a world record in February by making 14 pizzas in 2 minutes, 37 seconds. Another champion pizza maker -- Rod Stringer of Bowling Green, Ohio -- says he listens to Bad Company's "Holy Water" to get into the proper pizza-making rhythm.
