RESEARCHER: `DINOSAUR' PRODUCERS SHOULD FUND INVESTIGATIONS

BOSTON (Wireless Flash) -- Since Hollywood is making lots of loot off the new film, "Dinosaur," one expert thinks it's time the film industry started funding paleontologists. Dr. Don Lessem -- who works for a dinosaur research group known as the Jurassic Foundation -- says even though Disney has made nearly $38 million from the film, its only donation to dinosaur research was a few hundred thousand to Chicago's Field Museum. Since Disney will probably make a mint off the film, Lessem suggests Disney donate 1 percent of "Dinosaur's" box office to dinosaur research. The idea isn't entirely new. Steven Spielberg took part of the millions he made from "Jurassic Park" to fund a traveling dinosaur exhibit.
