SCIENCE EDUCATOR IS EMILY POST OF E.T. ETIQUETTE

ORANGE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- If you ever run into E.T., you'd better mind your P's and Q's. That's according to science educator Sharon Fogg, a sort of "Emily Post of E.T. etiquette." Fogg teaches space manners at Destination Science, a summer camp in southern California, and figures that as we continue to explore space, we're bound to meet aliens and should make it a point to be polite. Here are a few of her tips... -- Always smile when you meet an alien. It's universal body language that can reduce E.T. aggression. -- Earth languages may not be an E.T.'s native tongue so always speak slowly. -- Finally, never slap an alien on the back. Besides being rude, Fogg says you might pick up an E.T. illness.
