LEFT HAND GOLFERS TO TEE OFF IN SOUTH CAROLINA

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Wireless Flash) -- Left-handed golfers from all over America will get a slice of heaven starting today (Jun. 19) as the 65th Annual Left-Handed Golfers Championship gets underway in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Nearly 150 left-handed linksters plan on hitting the course and will be playing for a new set of lefty clubs. Oddly, although left-handed baseball players have an advantage over righties, that's not the case when it comes to golf. Left-handed linkster Wallace Jones claims most golf courses are designed for righties, which can make things difficult for southpaws. However, he isn't crying foul. Jones says left-handed pros like Phil Mickelson prove that being a left-handed golfer doesn't mean you have to be left behind.
