SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) -- Winnie the Pooh's alphabet skills are getting poo-pooed by education experts. FamilyWonder.com, a web site that rates children's videos and music, is giving an `F' to Winnie The Pooh because his "Alphabet Day With Pooh" cassette switches the order of the letters "X," "Y" and "Z." The video also places the word "knapsack" in the "N" section of the tape even though knapsack is spelled with a "K." FamilyWonder.com spokesman Todd Yellin fears kids will be humiliated in kindergarten when teachers try to teach the alphabet and the students insist on following Winnie's lead. A spokesman for Disney, the producer of the Pooh tape, says the company has no official comment on the alphabet tape.
