FITNESS BUFF TO WRAP UP CROSS-COUNTRY RUN EARLY

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Talk about running on full steam: An endurance runner who thought it would take three months to run across America is wrapping up his journey a month early. Fitness educator Stu Mittleman has been running an average of 50 miles a day since taking off from San Diego on May 1. He expects to reach the finish line in New York City on Monday (Jun. 26). He's has worn through a pair of shoes every two days on his monster jogging journey and is in motion 17 hours out of every day -- except, of course, during his roadside bathroom breaks. Mittleman is making the cross-country trip to raise money for childrens' cancer research.
