`DARK SHADOWS' TURNS 34 TODAY (JUN. 27)

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- It's a bloody good day for fans of the mid-1960s vampire TV soap opera, "Dark Shadows." On June 27, 1966, the show made its debut on ABC, and cast member Kathryn Leigh Scott -- who played Maggie Evans -- admits the actors sometimes let their imaginations run wild. One time the cast and crew convinced themselves a ghost was actually haunting the set making strange rumbling noises at inopportune moments. However, the so-called spook turned out to be a snoring crew member taking cat naps when no one was looking. Scott is the co-author of a new book, "Dark Shadows Almanac: Millennium Edition" (Pomegranate Press).
