FISHY ROCK BAND ATTRACTING GROUPERS, NOT GROUPIES

FALLBROOK, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- It may sound fishy but a San Diego-based rock band is attracting more groupers than groupies. The band -- called The Dorados -- is named after a species of fish and only sings songs about fishing, including "Bluegill Boogie" and "Why's Everybody Getting Bit Except Me." Fishing enthusiasts have fallen for the band hook, line and sinker and now are expressing their approval by bringing fresh trout, halibut and albacore to shows. Dorados singer Larry Robinson isn't raising a stink because he loves fish. However, he says he's worried that if the fish trend continues, the Dorados may have to buy a separate van just for the fish. The Dorados latest CD, "Papa Was A Fishin' Man," has just been released to fishing stores.
