CARIBBEAN NATIONS GIVE BOB HOPE STAMP OF APPROVAL

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Bob Hope will soon be getting a good licking -- at least a new stamp bearing his image will. This Friday (July 7), the Caribbean nations of Nevis and Dominica will each be releasing stamp sets honoring the comedian's 75 years in show business. The Nevis set focuses on Hope's radio, TV and movie career, while the Dominica set will concentrate on his performances for the military. Hope's wife, Dolores, says her 97-year-old hubby is thrilled with the honor and thanks Nevis and Dominica for the memory. Both stamp sets will be officially unveiled Friday at the World Stamp Expo 2000 in Anaheim, California.
