YOU SUNK MY HAUNTED BATTLESHIP!

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) -- The ghosts of Canadian sailors are having sinking feelings over news that their former ship will soon be sunk. The "HMCS Yukon" -- which was in use between 1963 and 1993 -- is scheduled to be scuttled off the coast of San Diego this Saturday (Jul. 15) and turned into an artificial reef -- but it's spooking spooks aboard the ship, according to one spiritualist. Medium Debra Campbell claims the ghosts of at least three sailors are furious about the sinking of the ship. One ghost -- a chubby-faced sailor named "McGear" -- told Campbell he doesn't give a hoot about the reef and thinks the ship should be preserved as a memorial to the Canadian sailors who served on it. Although Campbell claims the spirits plan to jump ship when it's sunk, she says it's possible some ghosts will stay aboard just to scare scuba divers in the area.
