BULLWHIPPING CAN WHIP YOU INTO SHAPE

BULLWHIPPING CAN WHIP YOU INTO SHAPE

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) -- Trying to whip yourself into shape? You may want to take up bull-whipping. That's according to San Francisco-based whip instructor Andrew Conway, who says cracking a bullwhip can keep your arms and chest in good shape. He claims bull-whipping also makes the body produce pain-killing endorphins and can give folks the confidence to whip life's problems. Conway -- who teaches whip classes at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts -- suggests kids get cracking as early as nine years old. Although whips can be dangerous in the wrong hands, Conway says the worst that usually happens is a blister or, maybe, a poke in the eye. Conway is the author of "The Bullwhip Book" (Greenery Press).
