FAT GROUP HAS COW OVER EDDIE MURPHY'S NEW FILM

San Francisco (Wireless Flash) -- It looks like fat activists have a beef with Eddie Murphy's new movie "The Klumps." Although the fat-oriented farce is being billed as a family movie, the National Association for the Advancement of Fat Acceptance says it has some heavy issues with the film. Spokeswoman Frances White fears the film will only encourage hatred of fat people when it's released this Friday (Jul. 28). White claims Murphy has dissed fat people before and cites an interview on "Entertainment Tonight" where he claimed he wouldn't let his own children watch him wearing a fat suit for fear of scaring them. The fat acceptance group also says its beef has nothing to do with a skinny actor playing an overweight character. White says the group would still chew out the producers of "The Klumps" even if the roly-poly roles were filled with real fatsos.
