$10,000 REWARD ON 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF HOFFA'S DISAPPEARANCE

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- This Sunday (Jul. 30) marks the 25th anniversary of the day Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa mysteriously disappeared near Detroit. Although Hoffa was officially declared dead in 1982, the search for his remains is anything but dead. In fact, "Boating" magazine has announced it will pay $10,000 to the person who finally uncovers Hoffa's hide. The magazine's editors believe boaters have the best chance of finding the Teamster's corpse in the Ausable River in Michigan -- which is where one tipster claims he dumped the body in July of 1975. "Boating's" editor Nancy Nisselbaum says most boats these days are equipped with high-tech tracking equipment which can uncover human remains underwater. The $10,000 reward offer stands until the end of the year.
