TOAST THE QUEEN MUM -- YOU'LL LIVE LONGER

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- Elizabeth, the Queen Mother of England, turns 100 tomorrow (Aug. 4) and, believe it or not, her longevity may be due to her love of gin and betting on the ponies. Sources say the Queen Mum is an avid fan of horse racing and it's rumored she enjoys up to a bottle of gin a day. According to Dr. Ron Klatz of the American Academy of Anti-Aging, many studies suggest moderate alcohol consumption can increase longevity by reducing cardiovascular disease. The doc also claims the Queen Mum's love of horse racing is healthy because hobbies keep people active and lucid. Klatz thinks her full schedule of royal duties is keeping her young and vibrant because keeping active also keeps you young -- but he admits being one of the richest women in the world "doesn't hurt."
