RUBBER MASKS PREDICT WINNING PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

MILWAUKEE (Wireless Flash) -- Don't look for too many Al Gore costumes at Halloween parties this year. It seems more people plan on dressing up like George W. Bush. That's according to the Milwaukee-based costume company, buyCostumes.com, which claims it can predict the outcome of presidential contests by tracking sales of rubber masks. So far, Bush is beating Gore in the mask race 55 percent to 45 percent, and company spokesman John Majdoch says the rubber mask connection has correctly predicted the elections since 1980. Unfortunately, that's bad news for Ralph Nader, Pat Buchanan and others who aren't popular enough to inspire a Halloween mask.
