DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE GETS GORED

GOLDEN, Colo. (Wireless Flash) -- Al Gore has clinched the Democratic presidential nomination but one of his competitors isn't giving up. 40-year-old Vincent Hamm of Golden, Colorado, claims he's still in the running for the Democratic presidential nomination even though he's only raised $2200 in campaign funds. As a result, he couldn't afford convention tickets but he figures that since he has about 200 supporters he should have some say in the party's platform. Hamm is currently contemplating whether to continue his campaign, although he's willing to endorse Gore if he's appointed Secretary of Education or "ambassador to London."
