ONE-ARMED DOVE HUNT SLATED FOR AMPUTEES

OLNEY, Tex. (Wireless Flash) -- Two one-armed Texans are about to give their fellow amputees a helping hand by throwing a one-armed dove hunt. The unique dove hunt is scheduled for September 8 in Olney, Texas, and organizers Jack Northrup and Jack Bishop expect more than 100 one-armed hunters will show up. Northrup says prizes will be awarded for two categories: Amputees without hands and those without elbows. One of the scheduled participants is a handless riflewoman who shoots by shoving her forearm through a special sling. Northrup also says there will be a one-armed cow chip toss and a special breakfast where the grub costs just 10 cents a finger.
