IRS HASSLES INSPIRE ACCOUNTANT TO WRITE MUSICAL

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- This may not be music to your ears but an accountant in Los Angeles has just written a musical based on the IRS. 61-year-old accountant Stanley Rich says the inspiration behind his musical -- called "Taxpayer, Taxpayer" -- was a 15-year catfight with the IRS over legal tax shelters. Some of the tunes in the taxing musical include "They Make You Feel So Dumb" and "Welcome To The IRS." Although the musical accountant says the IRS can be "totally ridiculous," he admits that if the government hadn't needlessly badgered him for 15 years, he never would have become a playwright.
