MAGAZINE TO TEST KISSMOBILE, OTHER NOVELTY CARS

BRADFORD, Pa. (Wireless Flash) -- If you've ever wanted to watch a giant Hershey Kiss hurtling along at 80 miles per hour, here's your chance. Later today (Aug. 22) "Car and Driver" magazine will test-drive America's most beloved novelty cars including the Hershey Kissmobile, the Zippo Lighter Car, and the BTI car, which is a Volkswagen Bug sporting a giant telephone. The magazine will compare the vehicles to see which car can go from zero to 60 the fastest; has the best brakes and handles the best. Marty Clarke, a spokesman for BTI, says he's confident his company's telephone car will ring up points in the speed category, although it could be closely dogged by the Kissmobile, which has been clocked at 80 miles per hour.
