PRESIDENTIAL NAMES: HITS AND MYTHS

NASHVILLE (Wireless Flash) -- What's in a name? Plenty if you're Al Gore or George W. Bush. According to a Nashville researcher, the candidates' names may give insight into their leadership styles. Self-proclaimed "investigative mythologist" William Henry claims Al Gore is a spiritual guy because his name is rooted to both the Arab word for "God" -- "Allah" -- and "Kore," the Islamic goddess for whom the "Koran" is named. He says Bush's name suggests he's a snake since "W" is the hieroglyphic symbol for "serpent." That means "Dubya" might be friendly on the surface, but he could strike down anyone who stands in his way. Henry also claims Joe Lieberman's name suggests he's a "bookish" man who may be prone to fibbing while Dick Cheney may be a man chained to doing things the "patriarchal way."
