MUSICIAN TO SELL HIS SOUL TO HIGHEST BIDDER

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Think the ska band Reel Big Fish lacks soul? You won't get any argument from them. It seems the band's trumpet player will be auctioning off his soul on eBay later tonight. 23-year-old Tavis Werts says he hopes to get $5000 for his soul because, in his words, "I'm not really using it right now and I could use the extra space for more CDs." Werts claims his soul was transferred to a glass Mason jar last year by a "voodoo priest" in Louisiana. Now the solitary soul rests on his mantle. Although eBay has a policy against selling "human parts," Werts doesn't think that applies to souls. He plans to apply any proceeds from the sale of his soul to his band's next project: Building a private colony in the Bahamas.
