LITHUANIAN TIE-DYE JERSEYS RESURFACE FOR SYDNEY OLYMPICS

SCARSDALE, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- Remember those goofy tie- dyed T-shirts the Lithuanian basketball team wore when they won the Bronze Medal at the Barcelona Olympics? They're baaaack. Artist Greg Speirs, who designed the original shirts in 1992, is now selling a special "2000 Olympics" edition of the crazy basketball jerseys -- which feature a skeleton slam dunking a basketball. Speirs will be sending several of the shirts to this years' Lithuanian basketball team, but he doubts they'll wear them because the wild design is now illegal for Olympic uniforms. Even so, he says he's been flooded with orders from Lithuania, where many folks are nostalgic over their homeland's win.
