`BLAIR' NOW TEACHING PARENTS `THE FACTS OF LIFE'

VAN NUYS, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- The woman who played snooty "Blair Warner" on "Facts of Life" has a new job: she's teaching parents the facts of life. Actress Lisa Whelchel is the author of the new book "Creative Correction: Extraordinary Ideas for Everyday Discipline" (Focus On the Family), which contains tips she formulated while raising her own three kids, who are now 8, 9 and 10. One tip suggests that if your child isn't doing a good job cleaning up the dog's doo-doo, you should make him or her run around the yard barefoot. She says the experience will definitely make your tot do a better job. Besides her new book, Whelchel is also set to star in an upcoming "Facts of Life" reunion movie in which she promises Blair will be as snooty as ever.
