IT'S NATIONAL ONE-HIT WONDER DAY!

DENVER (Wireless Flash) -- If you get sentimental over the macarena or wish Dexy's Midnight Runners would make a comeback, today is your day. It's National One Hit Wonder Day and one-shot tunes and one-shot artists are the honorees of the moment. One Hit Wonder Day founder Steven Rosen says some good examples of recent one-hit wonders are "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba and the "Sopranos" TV series title music "Woke Up This Morning" by A3. He claims Sisqo's "Thong Song" was showing promise as a one-hit wonder until Sisqo started climbing the chart with another hit, "Incomplete." Rosen suggests folks celebrate by listening to a medley of one-shots including "Sea of Love," "Psychotic Reaction" by the Count Five, "Kung Fu Fighting" and Soft Cell's "Tainted Love."
