TIGGER: POSTER CHILD FOR MENTAL DISORDERS

OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- Winnie the Pooh's pals need to get themselves to a psychiatrist, pronto. In honor of October, which is National Depression Month, a Florida-based mental health expert has come up with a list of a pop culture characters who need mental help -- including some of Pooh Bear's friends. Dr. Leland Heller says gloomy donkey Eeyore's grumpiness and complaining are classic symptoms of depression while the bouncy and hyperactive Tigger is a poster child for Attention Deficit Disorder. Then there's Piglet, whose constant worrying and fear are signs he suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder. As for good old Winnie, Dr. Heller says he's probably the most mentally stable of the group because he's generally happy and knows what he wants.
