CANADIAN ASPIRES TO BECOME HEAVY METAL ALEX TREBEK

CALGARY, Alberta (Wireless Flash) -- A 30-year-old Canadian political aide hopes to become the Alex Trebek of heavy metal with a new trivia game. Inventor Joshua Wood calls it "Metal Mental Meltdown," and the game features 666 trivia cards with questions like "Name five bands that have recorded a song called "I'm Alive":" (Kiss, WASP, Helloween, Killer Dwarfs, Icon). Wood admits his political background doesn't fit the metal head stereotype but says lots of doctors and lawyers grew up with heavy metal and never stopped head banging. He says he created the board game to add legitimacy to metal, which he claims is as artistically valid as classical music.
