NORM CROSBY: `GOLF'S NO JOKE TO BOB NEWHART'

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Bob Newhart might be a funny guy on stage -- but not when he's swinging a golf club. That's according to comedian Norm Crosby, who is getting ready to film a sports show called "Norm Crosby's Celebrity Golf Challenge." He says Newhart is one of the best celebrity golfers around and takes the game so seriously he demands complete silence when teeing off. Crosby also says Sidney Poitier, Joe Pesci and Johnny Mathis are all above-average golfers.
