ORIGINAL PLAYBOY BUNNY COSTUME AUCTIONED OFF TODAY

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- One of the very first "Playboy Bunny" costumes will hit the auction block today. The vintage bunny outfit has been hermetically sealed in Hugh Hefner's vault since the early '60s and is being auctioned off for at least $1500 by Playboy.com. The bunny suit comes complete with ears, fuzzy tail, collar, bowtie and cuff links and was designed in 1959 by Ilsa Taurins, who was dating a "Playboy" executive. Taurins had her mother sew a prototype costume with bunny ears that caught the eyes of Hef -- probably because it was made for D-cup breasts. However, most Playboy bunnies weren't that endowed so they stuffed rolled-up socks or cut-up bunny tails in their cleavage.
