WATCHING TV WHILE EATING TURNING KIDS INTO LARD BUCKETS?

HOUSTON (Wireless Flash) -- New medical research suggests many kids are learning their eating habits from Homer Simpson instead of Jack LaLanne. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston studied the diets of local grade schoolers over a one-week period and found 42 percent of their dinners were eaten in front of a TV screen. Not only that, but kids who were overweight were found to eat more of their meals in front of the TV than skinny kids -- 50 percent of all meals, to be exact. A Baylor nutritionist says the survey suggests people who watch TV while eating may be unaware of how much they're shoveling in their mouths, which can lead to weight problems.
