LIBATION LIBERATION COMES TO KENTUCKY

LAWRENCEBERG, Ky. (Wireless Flash) -- People who dine on wild turkey in Lawrenceberg, Kentucky, this Thanksgiving may be getting more than they bargained for. The town is the home to the Wild Turkey bourbon distillery and even though the town is technically "dry," restaurants there will be creating special bourbon-filled recipes. A spokeswoman for the bourbon maker says the bourbon- laced dishes will include "drunken pork," "Wild Turkey bread pudding," and corn on the cob served with "bourbon butter." The makers of Wild Turkey say they aren't flouting the law, because cooking burns off any trace of alcohol, leaving behind only the taste of bourbon.
